"I will always be grateful
to God for Stacie’s friendship both while I was at Lee as well as after I
graduated. Stacie was always so passionate about whatever she was doing, full
of energy and joy. Stacie and I stayed in contact after I graduated from Lee in
1995, and when I had the chance to visit New York City in 1999, we hung out for
a couple nights in the city. We had dinner in Times Square and Soho and watched
a Swing Dance competition for a couple hours at the nightclub at the top of the
World Trade Center. Stacie was a
great friend to me and I appreciated her joy and kindness. Stacie had a way of
making you feel special, and her love for others came out of heart that was
genuine and sincere. Everyone who knew her will miss her dearly. Stacie. . . I
will miss you." - Joe Giove
Stacie and I in NYC in 1999
"Stacie exemplified life and life more abundantly. If you weren’t having a good
day before you ran into her, you’d better get ready for an attitude adjustment,
because she could turn any bad day into a great day with her smile and
absolutely genuine friendship. To Daryll and Stacie’s family, I don’t know how
you feel, but Kristy and I promise to remember you often with our thoughts and
prayers. Stacie was and is an inspiration to me, because she refused to simply
exist, Stacie lived – and the life she lived has and will continue to change
lives and positively influence Eternity." - Michael & Kristy

"I am at a loss for words today after hearing of Stacie's
passing. She was an incredible breath of fresh air in a world filled with anger,
depression and hurt. She had an uncanny way of making everyone around her love
life more when in her presence. I have never met anyone that had more zeal for
life than Stacie. My prayers are with her husband and family. No doubt that
Stacie is running around in heaven with the same zeal that she had on earth
bringing joy to all those that have gone on before." - Trace Colson
"The first time I met Stacie was the night we were tapped
for Sigma Sorority at Lee College, Cleveland, TN (1994). She said, “I’m Stacie
with an ‘ie’ and then she giggled.” I loved her instantly. She and I took a
water aerobics class together and that was a blast. Exercising has never been so
much fun. She could just look at me and I’d start laughing. What a joy she was.
Her funeral service was beautiful – a service fit for a remarkable woman. It
gave me a peace and closure that would have taken me months to achieve on my
own. During the reception following the service, I could not help but to feel
happy. I was surrounded by some of the Godliest people I have ever known – and
the same people I will spend eternity with. I imagined that the same reunion
will take place in Heaven with Stacie right in the middle of it all. What a
great day that will be!" - Karen Firestone Muntean
"The question was asked in a "Sound of Music" song "...how do
catch a cloud an pin it down?" The answer, of course, is you can't. Staci was
that beautiful white cloud that covered us all with her brillantly fun self an
pinned us down with her love." - Jason Hopkins
"I will never forget that smile, That Laugh nor those hugs.
Stacie was the Best! There are somethings are are so precious that NOTHING could
ever replace them, Satcie was one of them. I will always remember our trip to
Isreal and all the fun we had at Lee. Ironically, My youth group is planning a
missions trip to NY, NY and I was planning on calling Stacie while there and try
to catch up on some old times. How I am gonna miss you Satcie, Rest with the
angels!" - Rev Tim Moore
"Thank you so much for the impact you had on my life! You always
stood by my side and believed in a dream God birthed within me.I will never
forget the Upsilon XI memories, nor the long hours we spent at "Shoney's",
sharing. Your memory will live in my heart forever. I will never forget you!" -
