In a truly unprecedented
achievement, Upsilon Xi alumni swept dozens of senior offices at the 70th COG
General Assembly held in August of 2004. Among those offices are the two
highest in the Church of God: the General Overseer (Dr. G. Dennis McGuire) and
1st Asst. General Overseer (Dr. Raymond Culpepper). Never before has the
General Overseer had a Lee University club affiliation. In addition to these
offices, Upsilon alum Loran Livingston was selected as Chairman of the Council
of 18, and fellow alum Darrell Rice was selected Chairman of the Board of Lee
University.
