For over 35 years, the men of Upsilon Xi have enjoyed a rich
tradition of excellence. This tradition is continually perpetuated by each new
group of men who are given the honor to wear the black and gray. Upsilon strives
each semester to selects the best men on campus. The emphasis is not placed on previous achievement, but on potential. Upsilon is looking for young men who desire to seek
Christian greatness and we routinely foster the growth and development of leaders and future leaders alike.
Membership to Upsilon Xi is granted twice a year to those gentlemen who are selected by the current club and complete the two part induction process. The two parts of induction are called "informal induction" and "formal induction."
To be considered for membership, the men of Upsilon Xi suggest that you do the following (in order):
- Strive to exemplify Christ with every aspect of your life.
- Strive to be a leader on campus by pursuing excellence in both the classroom and the dormitories.
- Get to know as many Upsilon members as you can.
- Attend the Upsilon "rush party" which is held near the beginning and/or conclusion of each semester.
Each of these activities (especially the first two) will increase your chances of being tapped into Upsilon. Good luck.
