- Induction Chairman was Ron Hegler
- Cam Mullis was elected as Athletic Director
- The Eastman Quartet, The Singing Evangels, and the GoForth Family Singers
were the acts for Musical Pomposity.
- Duran Palmertree was asked to author reflections in September of 1975. He
wrote them, but it was decided not to use them until the spring semester.
Reflections were eventually published and distributed on March 16, 1976.
- A committee was appointed to revise the constitution on January 20, 2976.
The new constitution was presented to the club on April 20, 1976.
- Little Brother’s Breakfast, Retreat and Formal Induction were held in
February
- Mike O’Neal, Rick Moore, Keith Munford, Bobby Johnson, and Steve Bates
were all given academic excellence awards. Each achieved a 4.0 grade point
averages for the fall semester of 1975
- The Upsilon basketball defeated Chi (again) on January 27, 1976
- Induction was held on the evening of February 7th and concluded on
February 8th.
- The Spring banquet was held on May 1, 1976 at Fehn’s. James Slay was the
guest speaker.
- Larry Carpenter became the second all-time leading scorer at Lee and a
2-time All American
- Chris Thomas was chosen to coach the softball team
- A Valentine’s Day present was purchased for the Sweetheart
- The club voted to allow Rick Moore to marry the sweetheart on March 16,
1976
- Upsilon participated in Lee Day on April 3, 1976 and put together a booth
- Vote Night for new officers was April 1, 1976
- Upsilon contributed to the Red Cross Bloodmobile drive and had the highest
percentage of members participating of any club on campus
