- The Little Brother’s Breakfast was held at Shoney’s on Jan 21, 1977
- Reflections were written by Hollis Gause and distributed
- McDonald’s requested nominations for its “Citizen of the Month” Award.
Upsilon nominated Murl and Carolyn Dirksen on January 25, 1977.
- A Concert Committee was formed and the club voted to have the Pat Terry
Group as the act for this year’s annual concert on March 1, 1977 (2/2/77).
Shalom also performed.
- A get-together was held at Sambos on the Thursday before Retreat, Feb 10,
1977. At this meeting the Little Brothers took the President’s Test.
- Formal Induction was held on February 15, 1977
- Presentation of New Members to Campus was held on February 23, 1977
- A flower arrangement was purchased for the Sweetheart
- The MENC Musical was held on March 24, 1977. Jerry Steele was in charge
for Upsilon
- Formal Induction was held on Feb 15, 1977 at the Broad Street Methodist
Church
- Jimmy Coffelt was in charge of organizing Upsilon’s participation in
“Broccoli Day”
- At the request of Paul Duncan, Upsilon provided service by chopping down
trees and cutting wood
- Fines were threatened for anyone not wearing a blazer or tie on Wednesdays
- Election of Officers was held on April 12, 1977
- The Senior Banquet was held on April 15, 1977 at the PeachTree Plaza in
Atlanta. Hollis Gause was the featured speaker. Ted Gee also spoke at the
banquet.
- Donna Waldree won Parade of Favorites. Upsilon presented her with roses at
its meeting on March 15, 1977
- Keith Munford won the Tharp award.
- Bob Herron won the award for Biblical-Historical Studies
- Upsilon put together a booth for Lee College day on April 22-23, 1977.
- The softball coach was Jimmy Coffelt (3/15/77)
- An Installation Service for new officers was held on April 19, 1977
- The Distinguished Service Award was given to Johnny Bunn on April 26, 1977
- Money was raised for the "Home for Children"
- Money was raised for local poor families
- Upsilon won the annual Derby day competition
