Upsilon Xi has always sought to serve the Lee University campus, the greater community
of Cleveland, and society as a whole. Service lies at the very heart of Upsilon. The Greek translation of the word, "Upsilon" means, "to serve, to render service . . ." Upsilons first acts of service occurred shortly after the clubs foundation
in the fall of 1962 when club members painted the porches of the Walker Memorial
Building (now Medlin Hall) and ushered for the administration. Since its
inception, Upsilon has significantly reached out to all those in need. In
addition to providing consistent and dedicated service on Lee University's
campus since 1962, Upsilon has engaged in the following significant acts of
service.
