Before the creation of the Upsilon Xi Website, the Black & Gray Newsletter was the primary source of information on Upsilon Xi, and the sole link between the club on campus and its esteemed alumni around the world.  Prior to 1995, Artcle III Section VIII of the Upsilon Xi Constitution stated that it is the duty of the Alumni Coordinator to coordinate and execute the publishing of a Black and Gray Newsletter each semester.  The constitution was amended in 1995, making the B&G a yearly publication.
